Why I blog.

I don't remember when I began to blog. I don't remember why I started to keep a blog. I do remember preparing and waiting for the "right time." I also remember thinking to myself that the "right time" may never come and I may never be able to do it well. So, I just did it.

I didn't begin blogging to fill a void in my life. I have "met" some amazing people and been inspired and stretched, and convicted through tehir blogs and emails.

I didn't start blogging to "one up" anyone or even to keep up with anyone. I have joined Mr. Linky parties where people share the 4 Christmas trees that they decorated fo that year, in November. I joined and posted my tree. That I put up in late December. And could only get half the lights to work. The picture didn't show to much though because my camera is also not up to par. I hope that encouraged someone else who was trying to prove thlemsleves "up to par."

I am very blessed to not have had a treagedy or illness that needing chronicling. It has been the opposite for us--blogging has showed us how blessed we are. While having a living journal of our happenings in our lives, we have seen our "ordinary" days as richer and more blessed.

I have been blessed with five great kids and have a very full life to chronicle.....
Do I think that everyone else will think my kids are wonderful? No, not especially.

I do know that I write what I need to write and if it blesses you, encourages you, inspires you or ticks you off...you'll visit. If not, I'll be none the wiser.

LOL, I like this post!

Some days, I blog everything I'd say to my husband if I hadn't already talked his ear off for two hours.

Maybe I need to rename my blog :)

Blessings,

Valerie
